I'm over 30, brazilian from the japanese diaspora, back to sunny Rio de Janeiro after too many years away. I work as a fashion and costume designer but I'm trying to pivot back to just being an artist. I wrestled with this label for a long time but fuck this noise, you know?
I used to be very much a partygirl but have mostly calmed down (Carnaval is still sacred, though). A few years ago I married my best friend (also a nipo-brazilian ex-partygirl) and we live very happily in our routine of homemaking, working out and eating the sexiest fruits the tropics have to offer. I'm also aunt to a 4 year old boy and that's most of my personality nowadays.

I've been online for 20+ years at this point and complaining about the enshittification of the internet for a while. Social media can be useful to keep up with friends who are far away but I really dislike what it has become. Fuck these united-statian silicon valley losers and their greedy ways, seriouslyyy.
I had long missed having a little plot of the internet I could call mine, as well as being able to visit other people's little plots, and going from little plot to little plot click by click instead of swimming scrollingly in sludgy slop while being bombarded by ads. A little friction can be good, actually. ;)
I'll try my best to tend to this little plot and make a small garden out of it. Please wish me luck!
